These pond pumps are much better than the cheaper ones they sell on e-bay (the cheap one I bought broke down very quickly). These last for a long time and you can open then and squeeze out the filter and wash it if it gets clogged. Also you can detach it from the solar panel easily (unlike the cheap pumps on e-bay which you can't disconnect as I have found to my cost.) It fits easily into the back of my water fountain and keeps going for months.
