The PondXpert SolarAir 100 pump is perfect for small ponds. It is a small solar air pump with a lot to offer!

This is the lowest priced solar oxygenator in the UK. However, don't be fooled by the low price tag as this solar air pump set includes a top class solar panel which will produce a maximum air flow of 100 litres per hour. Be quick - this item always sells out!

Air pumps are essential for the health of your fish - especially in the summer when oxygen levels are depleted. Additional air leads to additional water circulation and a healthier pond.

The PondXpert SolarAir 100 is perfectly suited for the following ponds:
• No fish: 750 litres (165 gallons)
• Fish: 550 litres (120 gallons)
• Koi: 250 litres (55 gallons)

I have had a few of these (being solar powered they don't last forever!) Bought this one to replace existing, which has been in small wildlife pond for a couple of years. I noticed it appeared to have stopped working and asked my partner to see if ants were nesting in the air pump (which has happened before!) They weren't and it started working again for some reason! (not the sun, I'm aware it only works in direct sun) So will keep this as a spare! Info for buyers - I've replaced the clear air tube with a black 'sinking' one as something bites through the clear one (possibly foxes as I've seen one standing in the pond in hhe summer!) And replacement air stones are available.

Bought to help aerate my wildlife pond. Works really well, masses of bubbles. Mostly reliant on sunshine but does work when just a bright day.

it works and is easy to install, it would be better if the IP rating was higher but i will have to remember not to leave it out in the winter
