A clever barley straw idea as these flakes sink out of view!

Here at Pondkeeper we know all about the benefits of using barley straw to defeat blanketweed. We have seen first hand how this traditional remedy works. One thing that can look a bit unsightly with barley straw bales is that they are designed to sit just under the water line - making them highly visible. This new treatment sinks as soon as it enters the water. Also, the 'flaked' appearance of the barley means that water penetrates through the individual pieces more efficiently, releasing more of the active ingredient.

Quick Delivery and it seems to be working in pond with lots of green weed. I have been removing the weed manually and the product seems to be preventing its continued growth. Newts in the pond are alive and seem happy

The bag floated to the surface so quite unsightly in my tiny pool, I took it out after a few days. So far no more blanket weed so it seems to be working, brilliant!
