What we love about this pond is that it requires no connection to mains electric. This pond can be buried absolutely anywhere in the garden and is low-maintenance. The solar pond pump has a lithium battery meaning it can run for up to 8 hours without sun - plus a mains adaptor is included for times that the pump battery needs a boost of energy. The pond pump sits inside the filter drawing towards it dirt and debris but the dirt gets caught in the filter sponges without clogging the pump.
