PondXpert Anti-Duckweed - 1,000ml

I purchased this product as it was supposed to be “the best for dealing with duckweed”. It’s hopeless. I have a 4000 litre pond which is covered with duckweed and it was not recon to try grass carp, partly because they were only “ok” with duckweed and the downsides were too great. I have dosed according to manufacturer instructions including spraying the stuff from the top and it’s not done any good at all. The instructions are meagre and don’t explain what the product is trying to go to achieve annihilation of duckweed. Hopeless product

This doesn't work.

I tried this product on a small area of duckweed but I'm not convinced that it is very effective. The duckweed discoloured for a few days but seemed to recover and thrive again.

I pour the product into a household sprayer, choose a dry preferably sunny day and spray direct onto the duck weed. Once it starts to yellow give it a second dose. I find the product helps to keep the Duck weed to an acceptable level. Repeat dosage later on in the season.

PondXpert Anti-Duckweed is absolutely useless and appeared to fertilise not kill the duckweed
