The Green Genie 12500 is a popular pond filter that has been around for many years. As of 2017 it has had a face-lift which includes an enhanced UV output from 16 watts to 18 watts. This is a 'flow-through' filter which means that the pond must be lower than the filter outlet. As this outlet is positioned high up on the filter box it can be partially buried if necessary.

Note: Colour of box filter changing from green to black over the course of 2019.

NOTE: UVC bulb included.

NOTE: The outer diameter of the outlet is 53.7mm. If you wish to extend the outlet pipe you will need the connection piece to allow 2” hose.

The filter is up and running and the water has cleared thanks to the uv. It is working perfectly. The bulb wasn’t working but the company sent me a replacement and a spare with no quibbles. The grommets holding down the bulb chamber are very difficult to get out , and to put back, and the cable is short meaning I had to have a connection. Very good custyservice.

The lotus green genie 12500 filter box is very good I enstalled it a couple of weeks ago now and it's running fine it's just the right size for the pond and with the new 18w UV light it has started to clear the water already .
