This is a well made filter with excellent results now it is up and running. It was somewhat difficult to assemble as one major part was warped i.e. the top cover for the UV mounting. The most difficult was fitting the lid, it is made with such fine tolerances that every time the lid was opened it would drag the UV cover out of place, some smearing of vaseline was the remedy, liberally smeared around the mounting. I especially like the top mesh tray that collects the larger solids, easy to clear without disturbing the sponges.
